This is another older wedding portrait. This was done spur of the moment before the sun went down on the back steps of a church. Yet I like this more then many studio shots. Sometimes due to time frame you have to crunch and get creative.

Colorful Night
How amazing are the simple things…. Just a plant , but contained within its boundaries exist color compositions, action, tension in the background, and for the people involved in projects like this there is a detailed history with its own memories and emotions.
Open Walkway at Night
This is almost the only single walkway of its sort in Orange County that allows you to walk over the freeway. Look at all of the tire marks on the ground.
Iconic Wedding Captures #1
From time to time I want to post universal iconic wedding shots that capture a moment of time. This is from a pretty old wedding, but I thought it was pretty neat. The sun had just gone down and I was about to go turn on the light pole, but grabbed this shot first.
Secret Facility #613
This is where they make the “stuff” Nobody knows where it goes after this. The machines decide who to take.
Rushing Past
Even if only flowing for a few seconds, time appears to have flown by from eternity past through to the future.
The Light Spirals Upward
Loving the play with shadow and light in this staircase at a refinery in the harbor of Los Angeles.
Leaning on the Curve
Everything in a refinery relies upon breaking things down into more usable parts and then filtering them into containers. Are we humans not unlike containers that need to be broken , and poured out upon others oftentimes to be more usable ? No man is an island.
Romantic Red Exit
Interesting how colors can transcend aesthetics and bleed over into emotions as well. This boring parking garage door has been romanticized by a simple red light. Less is more.
